Hey guys, my OCZ Fatal1ty 750w PSU has both a 4+4 pin CPU power plug and an 8 pin CPU power plug. Which one do I use?

Both are fine. smile.gif

The 4+4 one exists because some motherboards only take 4 pin.

yup, use either one. They are probably wired to the same spot inside the PSU.

Odd that is has both, it is usually 4 pin ATX and 8 pin EPS or a single 4+4 EPS.

The graphics card 8-pin is completely different than the 8-pin for CPU power.

And most decent power supplies have both 4+4 pin and 8 pin connectors because some high end boards actually have BOTH 4 and 8 pin connectors on them. Some even have two 8-pin connectors on the motherboard.

Thanks for advice, guys. I've been using the 4+4 because I went from a board with a 4pin to a board with an 8 pin.
