Can I take the top hot swap bay out from the case. I never use it and it doesnt even work right now. If so how do I do it?

well, first, if you take the hot swap assembly out, you'll have a hole up top. the door is a part of the complete assembly. But, if you want to remove it, get everythign out of the 5.25" drive bays, if you use a flashlight and look up towards the bay, you'll see, starting from the back, about 1/4 of the way towards the front, a metal tab that's bent on both sides, you gotta unbend that, and the bay slides out and falls down iirc.

good luck.

Clos is right - you are left with a hole. I took a piece of 1/8 inch acrylic cut it to the width of the opening and a little bit bit longer, covered it in fake carbon fiber tape and pushed it up into place. I am relying on the tight fit to hold it in place (ie it got stuck on the test fit - ha ha ).
I sent you a pic of the tabs, etc.
