If they are so good why didnt they manufacture any...

All I can find is the 1045T which has too low a clock speed...

Is there somewhere I can purchase one aside from ebay... newegg doesnt have any...

They are EOL it seem's since the new FX series replaced them, but they are still great chips if you are willing to go used or ebay it

AMD stopped production of Thubans late last year, in favor of producing FX processors. The reason you can still find 1045T's is because those are multiplier-locked and therefore harder to overclock. All of the "Black Edition" unlocked Thubans disappeared from the retail channel quickly after Thuban was discontinued.

They didn't have the facilities available to them to keep producing both Thubans and FX, so they stopped making Thubans.

I really think if AMD still produced the 960T, 1090T, and 1100T, AMD would make more money off them than Bulldozer.

It sucks they stopped making them, I was lucky, when I was asking about a new processor I got a PM for an 1100T for 130$. I bought it through paypal and it's been working great.
