I am currently sleeving my PSU and have come to my sata power cables. Now they are pretty easy to deal with sleeving wise other then understanding how I should put the shrink on or if I should just do them without shrink and just glue the MDPC to the length I need. I had some shrink on one and it wouldnt fit down in the sata connector properly. Any suggestions?

I honestly love this cooler, but I think I'm gonna move on to another one soon, it just looks... A bit to bland compared to other flaming red (literally) coolers on the market.

I am really hopeless with SATA power cables but I've seen where someone has used the type of connector where you push the wire which cuts the insulation to make contact with the wire and just used heatshrink with no sleeving at all. He'd cut the wires to the length to fit exactly between each hard disk. I can't link to the photo unfortunately as it's on a closed forum.

Until I master doing these the power cables I use these push to fit connectors with unsleeved wire.

Thats the exact connectors that came on my PSU cables. Well mine have the sharp edges to splice the cables. Just with the shrink on the cable it wont go down in the spots for the cables. Maybe I just need to push harder

I didn't explain it very well. the heatshrink was cut to fit exactly between the outer edge of the connectors not inside them.
Not a very good picture but hopefully enough to show what I mean

Hmm...that could kinda work but I still need to find a solution to my sleeve. I've seen others do it before on pictures but I cant find those pics where they used sleeve and shrink. Maybe I just need to get some more time and play around with it. Just everything I've tried so far has been a failure and not as cosmetically sound as I would like. Thanks tho!

I replied to your other post but I might as well put it here as well.
When I sleeve these I use some super glue under the sleeve and hs, this way I can pull both the hs and the sleeve all the way up to the connector. However to get it even and straight is all practice.
Shoot me a PM if you need more info. I can take some pics if you like I think I have some pre-made ones laying around.
