Metro 2033 is one of the greatest FPS games ever made. Although not usually recognized as such, due to the horrible state the gaming industry is in, it succeeds largely on its storytelling,...

This is an update of the original Fractal Design Arc Midi. The solid left panel has been replaced by a panel with a plexiglass window and the top USB ports are now USB-3.0. Let me state at the...

All in all great cooler for the money and has always worked reliably. Excellent for a backup cooling system or for low-cost budget computers, while still being able to overclock.

I've used this headset extensively for MAG on PS3. The sounds were wonderful, the mic was crisp, and the ability to adjust peoples voice volume is absolutely invaluable. For $100 ( or less ) this...

The Pros The reason this card is one of the better non-Tahiti 7870s is because of Gigabyte's custom PCB. Gigabyte took the 7870 and replaced it's memory chips with Hynix memory so they perform a...

This is the remote I will be using:

It's a fairly regular USB connected media center remote, compatible with most media software.
I need to get the receiver mounted inside the box, so had a peek inside to get an idea of how to mount it:

The PCB is kind of big, but I don't think it will be a problem

Did a quick mock up to make sure the parts would fit in the planned 35x35x12 cm sized case.
It should be possible, but not much space to work with. I want it as compact as possible.

Don't worry, I'll clean all the parts
The PSU and DVD will get some paint and the cables will be sleeved.
There will be 2x120mm intake fans in the sides, 1 x 80mm exhaust in the PSU and then I'll do vents in the back above the motherboard connections.

I'm considering how to do the round corners, they must be round.
I could probably bend the acrylic with a large heatgun, problem is just that I don't have a heatgun, so now I need to decide if I should buy one, might not work
Anyway, I do have another idea, will take a bit more work, but it should be doable, I have some 50mm plastic pipe (here one cut in half)

I could cut it in quarters and glue it together with the acrylic. I'll need to do some tests to see if that would work. Not sure if I can get a good enough bond between the plastic and the acrylic.

attach the thing with the bending radius u want to , to a table or something , imagine a bending break , but instead flat edge , rounded with the radius u want
i know i know , the bending break will break the acrylic , what im saying is that its the same principle of how the bending break works , aplies to this , u will do the bending with one hand and in the other , a heatgun , and it will take the form of the tube with specific radius u got

Thanks, yeah, I was thinking something like that, just using the pipe to make a jig for bending, but as I don't own a heatgun and would have very little use for it besides this project, I'm exploring other options

I do have an electric grill though
might actually be able to get it hot enough to bend the acrylic. Will have to experiment a bit though. Or I could sabotage my old toaster oven and steal one of the elements.
