i used a portable band saw on a cart. i wasnt even aware that you could change the angle of the cut.

i will send a pic of it when i can.

update. finished putting together my 600t. spend almost 6 hours staring at it looking for places to shove fans and i don't think i could fit anymore in there

and yes i turned the fan around. temps right now as i type this are 10C on all 4 cores so i think its working

still thinking about the wire management.
cut holes in the pipe or cut out a few sections and add a T in the back top support and one of the back legs or some back wire look and zip tie them to the frame

well i moved the desk upstairs and finished up. I most say its perfect for me. i used the 5 speakers from my surround sound system to hold the monitor shelf.

I am still not sure if cutting holes in pvc would affect strength.

add an non support length of pipe in the back, you can drill and cut in it where ever you want. Hide your cables in that

I'll be working on my desk this week and adding in 2 extra ABS pipes at the back underside of the main desk and my monitor stand for hiding cables. My trusty Dremel should make some cable holes relatively easily.

unless you hack them to custom lengths and screw them into the bottom of a desk. Oh well, theyre not bad and its pretty much exactly the kind of thing i was looking for. Just have to think out of the box a bit more before buying things

That is an great idea, as soon as i get some time off work i will have to try this out. But ive been using wrap around copper brackets to hold the wire up and out of sight.
