Skyrim and Diablo 3 are my regret purchases of late.

Well. D3 was fun up until inferno. Then our group just split up to solo as it was easier. It's just an auction house simulator anyways.

Skyrim... holy hype batman. Stale ass combat and boring story. I can only put up with the fetch quests into the same copy pasta'd dungeon so many times on the side. Skip all that and the main quests isn't even that long. The guild quests were decent I guess. I found the Daedric quests to be the most interesting, but there weren't enough of them.

Red alert 2 was a good RTS game and nfs? dude go play underground 1 and 2...those were epic when they came out...totally different than previous NFS games but in a good way and then after that it just got boring.

That game is actually so bad it is good...I paid $15 for a copy of it just so I can say I have it. Honestly it isn't that bad...It just doesn't matter if you drive on the road or not and the "You're Winner" cracks me up every time (You are winner?). It is kind of fun driving a semi at high speeds up a mountain...for a while any way. There are games out there that are so glitchy that they are painful to play (like the Neverwinter Nights 2 I mentioned) even some that are unplayable. Yet Big Rigs always gets put below them.

So the theme of the thread is:

1) More mainstream the game you hate, the better. "Oh y'all like this game, I HATE IT!"

2) Old is good, new is bad.

So, I hate the game that sold gazillion copies. It's previous iteration was so good. They dumbed down this one.

I wouldn't say that...provided the posters give reasons why they don't like a game. Sales numbers don't make a good game in every one eyes. My most hated game of all time will probably forever be TES: Oblivion and that game got a game of the year edition for reasons I posted.

I think the topic is more along the line of "What games have disappointed your expectations the most"?

Though there are quite a few older games listed in this thread too.
