Honestly I just jumped to the end of this thread and didn't leave the previous pages however, you probably need better cooling if this hasn't been said which I'm sure it has. Hitting 5ghz on air doesn't happen that often.

in the middle of this thread is where i bought a Corsair h60 and installed it. so its on liquid... but im still getting the same temps as my old cm hyper 212 thats the issue

the higher the voltage the higher the temp but if i lower my voltage anymore ill get a blue screen -.-

the H60 was the only one my local shop had in stock, but i can drive 2 hrs to get an h100 tomorrow.... tbh its worth it for me lol i like driving anyway, i can return this h60

I think it would work better and when you get it buy these fans for it in a push pull config.

But I already have an A/C blowing directly on the radiator, would the fans really do much?

Well, if you're getting a H100 you won't be able to have it directly on the back since it is a two wide radiator, although extra fans probably won't make much difference, especially if you don't mind running the stock ones at full speed.

The H100 has a built in fan controller. The fans can be quite loud from what I hear so I'm just not sure if you would want your system to be quiet or not and if you do you may want to go push-pull for the lower sound levels.

the computer is sitting right infront of a window ac unit that runs 24/7 and is loud as hell so that doesnt make a difference to me haha, thanks for the info! and where do i control the fans? inside the case? or is there software?
