Is now a good time to buy Korean monitor? Need reassurance... - Page 3

Since the lower grade panel aspect was revealed (probably by Dell and HP employees stealth trolling) when these started to became popular many people started running around screaming bloody murder.

If we look at the units playerwares reviewed most of them were either = or > any domestic IPS panel in terms default colour accuracy and contrast/black depth.

There are far, far, far less reports of displays with back-light bleeding and strong tinting compared to the Domestic models, many of which seemed (note the use of past tense) guaranteed to come with back-light bleeding (23" IPS) and tinting like the LP2475/U2410/U2711 which used to be notorious for coming with each side of the screen tinted pink and green/yellow.

From my understanding, research on OCN, and googling - the Korean Ebay sellers have been advertising them as "A- Grade" LG Display Panels since day one so they weren't revealed or discovered by someone else...

I'm still waiting for a "Trolling Dell or HP Employee" to clarify what is the Display Grades define in terms of defects or causing for the lower grade. I can only find loose terms or explainations for amounts of defects, etc... I do know it is based on LG's International Inspection Standards - but need more clarification on what is their exact "Grading" scale.
