FPS limiter possible issue...

Thread Starter
For the last month,I've been using Nvidia Frame Rate Limiter(set to 60FPS)+Adaptive VSync...

Still, all the time,I was getting a noticeable ammount of screen tear in some games.I thought it was fully game related, and ignored it,but today,I disabled the limiter(Adaptive VSync still on),and the screen tear is almost entirely gone...

So,is it normal for FPS Limiter to create more screen tear in some games,or was I recieving some specific issue?

Rig info in the sig,if needed...

Enable normal Vsync and set the fps limiter to 60 for best quality.
The adaptive vsync may conflict with the fps limiter. Also adaptive vsync disables if you fall below 60fps.

OK,will try that...

But do tell me this first,please...
In more demanding games where my card can't maintain a stable and constant 60FPS rate imposed by the limiter, will my FPS start dropping to 30,with regular VSync?

Sorry if it's a stupid question, never understood how VSync works too well, should do more research about that sometime...

Yes below 60 FPS you will drop to 30 FPS - thats why I'm using MSI Afterburner to cap my FPS to 62 so I dont have to deal with FPS drops if I do fall below 60
