That sucks man. I was thinking that ek would offer you copper versions at least. I love EK blocks, and I haven't had any problems with my x58 classified motherboard block thank goodness. Too bad they are still having issues with the nickle versions of their blocks.

I really thought that they would stand behind their products better. Staining huh... I think not.

I will only be using their copper blocks to avoid this issue.

their handling of their customer service and turndowns of obviously ill manufactured plating is what caused me to go with DD blocks. Not looking back at all.

To think...EK could have had my $1200 in blocks and WC parts. Screw 'em.

If I were you, I'd do some thorough research of every component in your loop to determine exactly what metals are in it. That includes what solder is used in your rads.

Same here, though i ended up w/ the helix res since I didn't want to run dyes anymore. Nothing against dyes, just the stupid tube that plasticizes and ruins the look imo.

Has anyone filed a suit against ek?

Just wondering because if it was me and thankfully it isn't id file a suit thats the only way to win against a company who won't honor there warranty!


I can promise you from here on out i won't be buying ek anything i dont care if they fix everything.

Im so not the one to spend my hard earned money to be told sorry get bent.

Id prolly go blow up there whole factory

Haha take it to the extreme! ya i def wont be buying them anymore. have to fine a suitable replacement on my next build. i think they were the cheapest at the time so i guess i got what i paid for.
