RealTemp or HWMonitor?

Hopefully this theard belongs here, if not, feel free to move it.
Under full load, HWMonitor says my max temp (avg) is 68.25C, while RealTemp says 71C, who shell I trust?
I'm using a I5 2500K if that matters.

Trust the temps for each of the cores on Realtemp, all cores max at different temps so an average is no good.

Alright then, RealTemp showed me these readings as max after 2 hours of OCCT:
65C 72C 75C 72C
Running on 4.8Ghz with my D14 on 30 ambient, is that normal?

RealTemp shows higher temps than the competition when a CPU is fully loaded because it samples the CPU at a higher Windows priority level. I figured enthusiasts would like to know what their real maximum core temperature was. smile.gif
