Is it normal for Virtu MVP to cause instability?

Well with VIRTU MVP on(Just hyperformance on) whenever I would open firefox it would instantly crash everytime. Also, a few games I had would restart to start and just crash. With it off all worked fine. Anyone had similar experiences?
