I remember I used to have one of those back in the day (returned it because it was busted lol). You're best bet is to get an electronic drum brain/head/whatever it's called to hook it up. What are you trying to do?

I don't have my ION kit anymore, but I probably could help. I used it to play FoFiX whenever Rock Band songs were starting to bore me. Are you trying to use it with Frets on Fire/FoFiX or using it in Superior Drummer for instance as an e-kit?

Well if you want to use it to play FoFiX/FOF on the PC, you need nothing. Just plug the ION via USB into your PC and boot up the game.

To use it as a real e-kit, you need a real electronic drum module. Things such as a Roland TD-3/TD-4, Alesis DM5/6, or Pintech EZV2 is what you would want. Just switch out the ION module for your new one, and then it just works as an any e-kit would work.
