CPU-Z detects 16Gb, 3DMark as well, but not Windows and neither does the BIOS (Says 8Gb). I tried resitting and rearranging the modules so far no luck. Any Ideas? Should I try each dimm on its own to see if there are defective ones?

I also tried clearing the CMOS, without luck.

I don't know it you're still having this issue, but I solved by flashing the BIOS within Windows wth a flashing software, I think the AMI (American MegaTrends) flashing utility.
