I just measured the clearance between my GTX460 and motherboard's PCB. It is 1cm. USB 2.0 plug has the height of about 1.4cm, at least in my case. In other words, at least with the plugs in my case I won't be able to connect USB 2.0 ports and SLI simultaneously with Sniper M3.

you will be fine with the m3. the sli cards go in the first and second slots, and about connections i wouldnt worry. if anything put the connections in first then put the gpu incase you have to sandwich a cord a little. i have to in my current computer, theres prob a good half inch inbetween gpu's and the mobo. u should be all good.

the orientation of your video cars will look something like this. forgive me for my lack of editing ability.
another thing to note is that the reference style video cards like EVGA seam to do better in a close SLI configuration according to a few reviews i have seen.

it appears i was wrong! apon examination i have discovered that the very bottom PCIe slot is at x8 mode which is where you will have your SLI.

Last slot is the one labeled X8, and X8 is the minimum that is needed for SLI.
So unless Gigabyte labeled them wrong, I am correct.

i cant figure out why Gigabyte would do that! you cant run SLI in a micro ATX case adequately then. looks like im gonna have to get the Maximus v gene.
