Getting no signal

I built my new rig and getting no signal. I changed motherboards,replace ram, replace psu, replace gpu,replugged everything. All the standoffs are there. my ATX 4 pin 12V power connector is plugged in. My only guess is its the cpu. It turns on but I get no signal. I took out my GPU and tried the motherboard vga plug still no luck. I cleared cmos too. I can't get into bios. It can't be my monitor because my laptop plugs into it fine. my only guess could be my cpu but am not sure. please help a brotha out.


All the fans turn on including the heatsink fan

You sure your mobos not dead? Bring them in to a computer store and maybe they'll check it out.

Oh okay I see now. After rereading again it does seem like a dead CPU. :/

bad ram will do the samething try booting up with just 1 stick of ram in slot A1

Its my motherboard >:[ Stupid gigabyte 2nd board Already. I went to frys and bought a Fx-4100 to see if it was the cpu thats bad but nope. IT got no signal too. damnit. Also I pluged in the motherboard speaker and it doesn't beep even with ram removed. So its dead. I'm never buying a gigabyte MB again. Never ever had this problem before

check you case plugs,power switch so on.
and use the onboard vga for the time being.

also trucker guys ram idea is right too.

another bit of advice is to relax,your not missing anything important if your pc is not working.

I tried everything. I used ram from a working computer, took everything out and put it back in, took out the GPU and used the onboard card. Nothing is working. I'm requesting a RMA from gigabyte. mad.gif
