Hello

Going to covert back to Water cooling to low noise levels on my Pc......

Used it before but about a year the CPU Block cracked and fragged my system..

so moved back to Air cooling after i shelled out for new System..

so now i will try again..

Ok looking at Custom Kit.. to fit my Thermaltake Armor Case

P4 - 478
1x Danger Den Maze4 CPU Lucite Top 1/2"
1x Maze4 GPU Block Lucite Top - GEFORCE 4 -FX5500 1/2"
1x Black Ice Stealth GT120 (1/2" Hi-Flow Fittings) Radiator
1 x Alphacool Laing DDC - Plexi Top
1 x Foppy Bay-Res
8ft Tygon R3603 - 1/2" ID Clear Hose
16 x Nylon Hose Clamps 1/2"
1 X Danger Den Fillports (SILVER)

1 X Danger Den MCT-5 Non Conductive Fluid

Maybe look at the DD TDX Range of water blocks......

Maybe goto 2 rads 1 x 120mm cooled maybe 1 x 80mm passive becuase 240mm takes up loads of room and i have a Raid Array to worry about and I am expanding to more disc´s

Any Idea´s would be a great help

Phil

Are you going to be using a 18W Laing DDC for a pump?If so you might want to look at this top.And below it are tests........ Petra's Tech Shop
DDC Top & Pump Performance Comparison (Petra's, Radiical, Alphacool, etc.) - XtremeSystems Forums
They are coming out with the GTX you might want to wait on it....:::: Hardware Labs - Gen Two ::::..

I like the Swiftech Apogee for a CPU block...DD's are good to..

If you want one of the best CPU blocks fstfrddy here on our forums makes one of the best.....Stinger Waterblocks

The Alphacool W/top is fine...You would be better off putting a dual rad on the back of your case...You can make one easily out of some 1" alumium square tubing..And I will link you to one to give you ideas....
Swiftech MCB-120 Black 120mm Radbox Kit
Shipping kills me to,I know to a lesser extent then it does you...It still eats into my budget to much for my liking.....

Those tube holes were just right for your rheoststs.. If you can with those small rads, stick as high a cfm fan on them as you can stand one on each side....

Just been Looking at Danger Den TDX P4 478 Intel Block looks very nice...

Been looking around the prices vary so much from place to place.....Us Dollar prices charged in uk Pounds and Euro´s make things damn expensive......

What´s the Gig with Tubing people say 1/2" or 7/16 - Tygon or Masterkleer 7/16" ID

Going to ponder today on Rad issue - Were you saying mount 2 fans or 2 rads outside case or 1 rad 2 fans...?¿?

Any Idea´of Good Shops in Europe or good Over sea´s shipping

The TDX is a good WB..

If you use 7/16 x 5/8 Masterkleer tubing with 1/2 fittings, it's a lot easier to route around in your case and to work with in general..It flows nearly as much as 1/2 tube....I use it and like it....Tygon tubing is of the highest qualty and very good also...

The rad, I would just mount a double one on the back of your case, with 2 fans pulling air through it....I just meant to say if you mounted the 2 smaller ones on the inside to try and mount 2 fans each on them...You will be a lot better off having them on the outside of your case if you are able to do so, it wont dump so much heat in your case..

I'm sorry but I do not know of any good over-sea's stores...

Which Pump either

Danger Den DD12V-D5 Pump or Alphacool Laing DDC - Plexi Top

Alphacool Laing DDC - Plexi Top looks the bussiness with a Plexi top seems to be the best rated pump in it´s class

Danger Den DD12V-D5 Pump - get good reviews but looks rugged and astatically basic like something out 1920´s

I know it not all about looks and more about peformace....

But it its go look sexy...lol

New point do i need to install Reservoir....it aids cooling and allows more water to be contained in the system. so more water less heat.....but a passive cool would do the same job...?

i seem to be struggerling to source some item from same suppliers might order from USA and just stand the shipping

Uk sites seem to charge double the Dollar Price.. if convert it back to UK pounds......

I like the 18W DDC w/top, but for general use I would say to go with the D-5....The DDC is hard to bleed and if not done properly can ruin the pump...

You dont have to have a res, it just makes it a little easier to bleed.. Just use a T-line with a DD fil-port.....Danger Den :: Misc. Hardware :: Fillports and T-Lines :: Danger Den Fillport

I'm not sure what you mean about the passive cooling?

Good Luck on your parts gathering, I know that shipping has to be a killer..
