Regardless Apple is more mainstream than Lil Wayne is to kids that have no grasp of what music is.

Who is "Lil Wayne"? confused.gif

Anyway, it is good that Apple is changing to more factually correct statements about their malware/virus vulnerabilities.

Depends on the product, the ipod started out as a hipster thingy but quickly became mainstream. Macbooks and Mac desktops surely aren't mainstream products and have indeed been favoured by hipsters. (Video editing on a PC? Oh that's so not-done!)

Amusing, the ignorant masses will still claim Macs are virus(or I should say Malware) free.

Actually, Apple's technically right. It gets 0% PC viruses and it gets 100% Mac viruses.

Also, how are Macs mainstream? Aren't they like 3% market share or something?

Frick that is exactly why I love you. You where a hipster before being a hipster was cool. I think you even did it before the flinstones practiced x-mas before jesus was even born.

The iPod started out as a hipster thing? You clearly weren't around when it first came out. Funnily enough neither were "hipsters".

iPods have never been considered "hipster" or anything like that. Ever. They've been class leading devices since they came out with black and white screens and were half an inch thick.

Good, but I was they would just throw that "safe" slogan out completely. All it is going to do is give bad people something to prove wrong.

Yeah, only last week had to clear that off my parents laptop. The icon wouldn't open Norton and googling after the issue, the OFFICIAL response was to uninstall and reinstall the software.

They don't have Norton any more, who would've guessed.
