then try the method using 0711 and if that doesnt work then do it with 0614. i would prefer going back down to 0614 and overclock past 400FSB rather than getting stuck at 335FSB with updated bios. but yea try it with 0711 first.

What you will find is that you need to bump the chipset voltages and set FSB to 400 and bump the Vcore say 1.45v.

With the E6300 and this MB just seem to no-boot at 330-400.

Also manually setting the Memory to SPD timings and bump the vDimm and set 1:1, but your modules being PC2-5400 may also be unable to support the higher FSB's

Use the DDR2 Calc in Sig to help you see the options.

Did you lock your PCI and PCIe buses at 33 and 100 respectfully?

This is my currently functional formula:

P5B deluxe BIOS 0614
E6600 @ 1.5v 3.5GHZ 40c idle with *7 muliplier
FSB 500mhz, NB and FSB termination voltages at max. NB temp 25c idle
Ram 1000mhz 1:1 divider 4-4-4-5 @ 2.3v

The CPU is on water, everything else is on air. So, depending on your heatsink type, you might want to unlock the divider and try some of my formula.

I did a little research and some people have been saving that they simply cannot get their cpu to boot in this range. After 400fsb it seems to be fine. Try lowering your multiplier and raising your fsb. See if it works and if it does, decide what method you want to stick with and then test for stability.

ive tried lowerign my multi to 7 and upping the FSB to 400+,. and ive been running my chipset voltage on full. ive respectably locked my PCI-E to 100 and 33 respecably.

i have tried maualy setting the memory in every possible way and it never boots, even at default!i guess the only thing to try is hat other bios, i am very annoyed atm, i can only run decently at 2.88 ddr2800, its very frustarting with watercooling, hopefully a different bios will help

ok no ive tried both bios's 0614 and 0711, no difference.
an interesting problem im having is with my ram, i can boot fine at 320FSB ddr2 800 with all my ram timings set to auto which ends up being 5-5-5-18.
i then try simply running with the timings set to manual and alot looser, no boot.
it seems no matter how i set the timings, when in manual it wont boot??!!
