e6600 stuck at 335 fsb with P5B deluxe - Page 3

There is no way you got 10000 points for the cpu, I get 2991. 10000 was the overall score maybe?

What voltage are you using to get to 3.6? and what are your temps like?

its when i jsut do the CPU test, if you deselect the gfx ones and do just that one then go details it gives you a score, basicaly my my performance has dropped by 60%
votls are 1.45 and temps are about 45degress. theres no throttling at all, thats what i thought would be the problem

Hey nicemates ! Sorry you're having problems, ya you should be able to take it higher. Here, check this to compare your bios settings http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=115217.

As far as the vmch and other board voltages, really you shouldn't have to up them at all, until you're at much higher fsb than you're at now. Even on that link I provided he shows the mobo voltages turned up, but even he said it's not intended as an OC guide. The author of that thread himself has also shown that you don't need increased vmch volts, until quite a bit higher fsb than you currently have, see here http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ght=vmch+chart. Granted, that's for p5wdh, but it's probably similar idea for a p5b. I know it's different chipset, but it makes sense you wouldn't have to up these voltages, until you at least push the mobo some.

I just leave all those mobo volt settings (except vcore and vdimm of course) on auto on my p5b deluxe. I don't know what it's setting them to with that setting, but I can hit over 500fsb no problem .

Make sure your ram is stable too, run memtest on it through several loops http://www.memtest.org/. You need to use process of elimination to find out what's holding you back here, good luck !
