Hello OCN.
I want to start sleeving my first PSU, and I was having trouble removing the ATX pins.
I have small and weak hands, so while I could get the staple method for removing pins to work, it was difficult and incredibly painful. I also tried the tiny screwdriver method, but the smallest one I have still damages the pins.
I bought a pin removal toolkit on Amazon
, and while the Molex tool works fantastically, the ATX tool is still giving me problems.
I checked that the tool does go deep enough to push against the pins. It doesn't seem to be pushing them in enough, that the tool is too thin, but it could be another issue.
Is there something I can do to make this tool work? I wanted to try sliding something else in from the outside of the tool to push it in farther, but I have nothing that can fit there.
Some constraints to make this interesting:
~ I have maybe 10$ to my name
~ The only store I can get to is an Office Max. And a grocery store, but I doubt that's helpful.
~ I can't order anything else off of the internet.
~ The only tools I have available to me are a file set.

I think I'll try that tonight. Thanks!
