If you have the original Windows disc, I would recommend copying over the ulib.dll file and replacing your current. It may be corrupt. It could also be DirectX related since you mentioned you got an error with that too. Ensure your DirectX is up to date.

Tried it, copied a fresh one over and same issue. Even tried to redownload the game same problem, cleaned registry but still the same issue.

Have you tried running the game as an admin? Program Files>origin games>Battlefield 3> Right click on BF3 app and go to properties> compatibility tab and check "Run as Administrator".

Edit: This may not work as I realize you are having installation problems and not a problem launching the game.

Try installing the program(and origin) via Sandboxie and see if that helps with anything. Use the install data location from the program however so you won;'t have to redownload everything.

Ok so i got it to install by replacing all windows 7 files which were corrupt.(chkdsk C: /R ) and then to fix the dx error i had to remove all the .cab rar files and install the game thats fine now.

Now this is the issue, when i start the camping/match it stuck at initializing... and wont start bf3.exe mad.gif any thoughts guys?

EDIT: SOLOUTION
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Solved it!,

1) start process manager and end the origin process while battle log is still initializing.
2) close the initializing window in battle log
3) start a camping/online match and let battle log start origin instead of you starting in from the start menu
4)PLAY!
