Mission completed...Project BLU-VENOM as landed...56K you Aware...

I have for sometime been building computers. One of my first (major) builds was my AMD Athalon Slot A on an Epox 7KXA board. Been messing about with computer even before then. All my builds were AMD's, however this build will be an Intel build.

I would say I'm fairly mechanically incline and can handle tons of tools which I do have. Unfortunately I live in a high rise so full blown modding is out of the question.

Just to give an idea of what this build will be Its not a full on build log per say. Its more of me doing some mods on my case and enjoying my self. I will be adding Photos, However let me apologize for the sub-par photos as I don't own a decent camera all photos are from my crappy EVO 4G

Never Intended for it to become A build LOG but The more I do, The more I get new Ideas and keep changing direction:D

So as mentioned I start working on the 600T.
As we all know its an awesome case but not much room or lack there of to do a push pull setup on top. So what i decided was to first remove the 200mm fan untop
here I will be using the 220 RAD inside the case while having 2 120mm typhoon suck air from outside into the case across the RAD.

I just did a not so sophisticated drawing using MS paint but you get the idea.





so here is my intail cut out I left the wing parts in the middle for mounting points for the fan.

Some "U" channel from FPC. I dont think this is really needed however i do think it helps with noise reduction between the RAD,fans, and case

Also forgot to mention I also remove the mesh from the back exhaust fan area too

Quick Update

I have decided to go with an ultra clean look, basically there will almost be no cables visible maybe the graphics card and the 8 pin connector will be visible.

Drive bays(backside in the case ) will be hidden, PSU will be hidden and MB Connectors will be hidden.

I'm not sure what material I will be using it could be acrylic, metal or ABS just have to see which one is easier to work with.

Also had to do some modding to the large rad because the 8pin connector was butt up right on the rad so I had to take my dremel to it the very carefully.

Thanks man, most def I am and will enjoy it. I have tons of ideas floating around in my head so we will see what the end results will be.
As this is my first major mod for that matter.

UPDATE

So I decided to go with with 3/16 acrylic for a couple reason Its available locally cuts cleaner dont need a metal bending AKA break machine.
I did some preliminary fittings with cardboard.

I'm planing on warping the acrylic with some sort of material maybe carbon fiber sheet in black or blue.

Also did a little mod on the back..for the USB3 Front Panel

Tools of the trade This is my first ever sleeving job I used paracord ( harder choice) Some MDPC

Yup void my warranty

Had ome headache with double wire had to use MDCP as the double wires could not fit in the paracord

This is what I use to bend the 3/16" acrylic, very very light duty strip heater. took about 20-25 minuets to get the acrylic melted enough to bend it.
I was contemplating buying thishttp://www.delviesplastics.com/mm5/m..._Strip_Heaters a actual prebuilt unit but was too much for what might be a one time use.




Also had some time on the BLU VENOM badge been worked on...


Test fit of the BV covers....which are wrap in simulated carbon fiber...
