Not to take anything away from mnpc or others but from what I understand the side panel they offer is flat and does not have that curve on both ends as the original side panel.....so I tried something and here are the results.

I always wondered why no one ever made their own or why mdpc or cyber druid never bent a curve into the side edges to make it match the case. Definitely the way to go, great way to make the side panel look stock. How do you like it? Can you post more pictures of the panel on the case? Did you make a mold of the case to form the acrylic to, or did you just heat it up and lay it over the original side panel?

Hey Nimble,

Thanks for the rep, I appreciated the feedback. I actually was able to bend the acrylic by just eying the degree of the original bend, sounds impossible but I really did not go into it with much of a plan as this was to be just a trial thing I was going for but it came out better than anticipated.

The heat strip is very light duty so it took a while for the plastic to melt, once it was melted i work very quickly going from the original panel to test fit before it get cold, but yeah man it came out really well and I think the bend maintain that wide look of the case, it also help with the badge and the the SSD mounted on the panel.

Well done, one of the most clean mods I have ever seen. I wonder if you'd like uv reactive transparent tubing so, a bit more flashy inside.

Thanks for the compliments....appreciate it..smile.gif

At the moment as you might be aware of the issues with tubing and plasticizer. I am currently running primochil mad.gifrolleyes.gif UV blue, however hours after doing the install and checking for leaks the tube became very cloudy Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
so i had to abodned the UV option and just deal with the crappy tubing. My plan is to run it the way it is at the moment and when it comes time for a loop maintenance hopefully the issues with these iferior tubing will be solved then i will be going clear tubing and mayem UV blue...hopefully.

I can't imagine what my loop and hardware looks like at the moment as far as that leeching of plasticizer hopefully my blocks, fittings, pump, and rads doesn't get ruined before I get to them...
