Eh, sounds like one of the GPU's is dead.. Try older drivers maybe? Say from when a GTX480 was new.. So June 2010?
Otherwise if it's dead there's not much you can do unless you want to try a resolder or a reseat of the cooler (it might be overheating?) You could RMA it depending on your warranty

You could use tri-sli 295's though which would be cool to have compared to regular quad 295 cores
