Corsair 650d front fan with 140mm cougar or 200mm?

The front fan of my 650d is loud compared to the cougar vortex that I've bought and am looking to replace it with either the 140mm version or a 200m megaflow. I know that a slight mod is needed for the megaflow, but which one do you guys recommend?
thanks!

The stock fans are not nice are they? I'd go with another 200mm. To fit the 200mm Megaflow you only need to move the hard drive cage back towards the PSU, there are mounts there for it. The 200mm Bitfenix Spectre Pro will fit without moving the hard drive cage as it is only 25mm thick. Also to reduce noise you may consider cutting out the mesh directly in front of the fan, like this.

I used the Xigmatek Crystal series. Quiet & gets the job done when I used my 650D. Was an easy install....

haha it seems 200mm is the way then
im looking at the megaflow bc the noise is quieter than the spectre pro and moves a lot of air but i need all my hdd cages, if i move one to the back it'll still work?

Yes. This is mine with HHD cage moved back and Megaflow, swapped now for a Bitfenix.

that looks really nice!
i require both my hdd bays though, but i've heard the bitfenix fits since its 25mm with both drives, i was wondering, when compared to the megaflow, how loud is the bitfenix?

I bought a bitfenix 200mm spectre pro to replace the front fan. The fan doesn't seem to fit though as the stock fan has short screws holdung it in but the bitfenix fan needs long screwa by the looks of it. Did you buy longer screws or am i doing something wrong
