Whats your CPU cooler?

Try increasing the VCore to 1.4V, see if that gets you stable. If so, keep lowering it by 0.05V. smile.gif

I have found that I can get stable with a fairly low voltage up to a certain point. Then just one multi increase and it all of a sudden takes an inordinate amount of voltage to achieve it. Hits the wall hard. No matter what seems reasonable to you, based on your previous overclock, 1 added to the multi might just require more voltage than you want to add.

With that said, it would help to know what your bios settings are.

Such as PLL Overvoltage
LLC
VRM Frequ
Duty and Phase controls
CPU Current capability

Also are you using Manual or Offset voltage?

Also, there is nothing wrong with 1.4v on that CPU. If you are uncomfortable with it, but want to get your highest overclock then just buy the $25 intel performance protection plan. Then you dont have to worry about it.
I ran my 2600k @ 1.47 for over a year. It never degraded a bit as far as I could tell. Meaning that I did not have to occasionally go in and up the voltage more to keep it at that overclock
