Oh my, this needs some sort of bracket to supplement the weight from the cooler.

I would suggest a bar that runs along the case from one side to the other, just to keep the card from bending and such.

That's what I was thinking. Currently it's being propped up by a couple PCI slot covers.

Default clocks are at 625/993. After a hell of a time trying to figure out how to overclock it, I found out that Visiontek locks the card to where you can't even overclock it in CCC. Backtracked all the way to CCC 10.4, modded the BIOS, and finally was able to push the clocks up to 680/1050. I will be pushing the voltage up a bit more and would like to see 750 core before I hardmod the card. Temps stayed the same and if they continue to do well I'm going to push this thing as hard as I can.

OP updated with more pictures. Final clocks (for now) are going to have to settle at 700/1100. This card does NOT overclock through any sort of software, be it EVGA Precision, MSI Afterburner, Sapphires Trixx or whatever the hell it is, ATI Tool, AMD GPU tool, CCC, or Rivatuner. ATI Tool will only overclock at what it deems "safe" voltages, but the highest "safe" voltage it will do is 1.158. The VDDC on this card is 1.258, and even a mild overclock (to say, 630) causes issues. At 1.258, with a BIOS signature flash to 700/1100, I can benchmark without issue and came within striking distance of a 4870 (1108 marks in Unigine Heaven, the lowest 4870 on HWBOT scores 1155). If I can figure out a way to overclock further, I will. Otherwise, I might wind up using this mod on a different video card... ebay don't fail me now biggrin.gif
