My favorite strategy against computer was to line up the walls with archers and then ride light calvary around outside to try to pair the CPU. biggrin.gif

OMG I hope this really happen. ROME was my favorite Total War game! ROME is considered to be the best in the series because the game-play is so much faster and responsive than the rest. Also the ancient Greek is such a cool time period for history buffs like myself.

If its like the others, the easy setting is definitely easy enough for someone who isn't so good at RTS games. There's advisers that can walk you through the city management menus as well. Plus, with some play time you'll figure the battles out pretty quick.

Rome is one of my favorite strategy games and the best total war game imo, I cannot wait. Naval battles with biremes and triremes anybody? I always thought rome had the most unique units, with each factions units playing very differently. Med 2, Empire, Shogun all the factions pretty much had the same units and it was boring.
