Post your HD7850 ASIC quality, stock voltage, max GPU clocks with stock voltage

Another one "post your..." thread. smile.gif

It would be great to see if ASIC quality really has impact on overclock and to see what ASIC quality OCN members got. Card is Sapphire HD7850 (non-oc).

For example, I got ASIC quality of very high 92%, I haven't seen such good ASIC anywhere. Stock voltage is 1.038V, GPU is stable on stock voltage up to 1100MHz, maybe even more, 1200MHz requires 1.1V.

405

So, ASIC quality, stock voltage and max stable GPU clocks with stock voltage.

ASIC: 92%
Stock voltage: 1.038V
Max clock: 1100MHz

I'll get pictures and benchmarks when I get home.

Card: Reference HIS Radeon 7850 2GB

Asic Quality: 80.2%

Max OC: 1200 core 1350 memory on 1.138V (stock voltage), BTW I can achieve higher than 1200core on stock voltage but my temps get way to high

Max Temp: ~75C furmark with room temperature ~30C

To check GPU ASIC quality is very simple: right click on GPU-Z window, then select "read ASIC quality". smile.gif In case somebody doesn't know how to check this.

HIS H785F2G2M
ASIC: 79.4%
GPU VID: 1.138v.
Max.stable GPU clock @ default voltage: 1130 Mhz.

p.s. Factory TIM on this card is garbage. After applying MX-2 I got 5C less under 3d load.

Pretty much all cards have crappy TIM...

This thread is for HD7850 models, there should be another thread for HD7870's. smile.gif HD7870's probably have different ASIC quality (it's better chips that get to HD7870's) and both voltage and clocks are different.

Yours can do way more than mine. I have a Sapphire brand with almost identical ASIC to Zerb of 80.5% and it can only do 1080 Core with 1200 (stock) Memory on 1.135 Volt compared to Xerb's 1200(!) Core and 1350 Memory. Anything over 1.135 Volt gives off weird colors in different parts of the Windows interface. I'm really disappointed with Sapphire for this as i've always used their cards and was expecting great things with this 7850.

My ASIC is 80.5 and I think my stock voltage is around 1.08? Or 1.079 or something like that IDR I'll check.

edit: dang didn't see this was such an old thread sorry guys.
