Total noob at gpu cooling. Can someone tell me if the Heatkiller 79xx will work with these cards? I would really like to get my card and cooler ordered today.
I can see it listed at the EK site but I don't want to spend all that money and have something that won't work.

are you asking about watercooling a HD 7950. also what do you mean "I'm having a hard time finding a 7950" . these cards are available on newegg and amazon.

The block will work on HD7950s that are built with reference HD7970 pcb design.


Sapphire HD7950 950mhz edition will work.
The newest revised MSI TF3 HD7950 will work as well.
