Changing my AMD Phenom II X6 1075T for a FX-8120 - Page 2

With 2x GTX 570's pushing a 1080p monitor, thats already more than enough.
You have a nice SSD.
Plenty of RAM.

I mean, a 3570k/z77 would be a nice upgrade. But not huge. Not to mention that 1155 is already at the end of its cycle.

Unless you rig is struggling with something specifically, save your money for Piledriver/Haswell.

Well....You could swap out your 570's for a single 680 ($500). Or maybe 2x 670's ($800).

But that is all way overkill for 1080p.

Maybe get a nice 1440p, or 1600p monitor? Makes a huge difference.

No point in a 680 I get better results from sli 570's.

Sli 670's r a bit too expensive.

With your CPU you would get better performances with a single GPU (GTX 680) than with SLI 570.
You most likely are not using 100% on both GPU with your CPU unless it's heavily overclocked and even there, there is place for bottleneck, I've seen a few benchies where even a highly overclocked phenom would still bottleneck a CFX/SLI setup (Very few thought)
