Hi everyone,

I just checked everything for my new build, just need help with choosing the motherboard, here´s the things I decided so far with the great help of Overclock members on another thread:

CPU: I5-3570K

Motherboard: Need help...

GPU : 2x EVGA GTX 560 FTW+

Case: Haf X

PSU: Corsair 750W

Motheboards I can get (on a store near me):

- ASUS P8Z77-V LE SOCKET 1155 - 160€

- ASUS P8Z77-V LX SOCKET 1155 - 130€

- ASUS P8Z77-V SOCKET 1155 - 170€

or should I go for a Z68? (the store near me will update the bios - I checked)

- EVGA Z68 SLI SOCKET 1155 (E685) - 170€

- GIGABYTE GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 SOCKET 1155 - 150€

I have not much more money since I´m near my bidget limit.... so if you guys know anything cheaper please advice

The Z77 boards will help you out more than a Z68 board will. As for cheaper places I can't help you out with. :/ Also look as ASRock boards too. I've heard that theyre pretty good as well.

Thanks for the reply, I´ve did some reaserch and appart from usb3, whats the big thing that will help me more?
Because even though the EVGA is Z68 it looks (so I believe that is also it performs) much more "professional or better made" then the ASUS P8Z77-V SOCKET 1155, but if the Z77 is better I´ll get that.

No problem, as for best prices I´ll look onto that thumb.gif

Thanks!

You'll get better overclocking potential out of newer hardware, the native PCI Gen 3 slots (not needed currently but in the next series I bet it will be used well), ability to support more RAM, more SATA ports, and wireless LAN if you need it.
