Help with a SR-X 270 build.....

I am not happy with my 2600K build.... I have a Asus Extreame Z board.....

I am looking to build the SR-X 270 (not sure which cpu yet)

I am looking for performance to price ratio.... I would like to water cool but would like to buy a kit for the board.... I am not sure any of those exisit.....

I already have 8 vertex 3 (120gb) and will buy 4 more to hook to areca's raid card i have.... its like a 1882 I think with 12 inboard ports and 4 external....

I am looking for the smallest case I an put everything in.... ( want the smallest tightest configuration possible)
I like sea-sonic for power supply...
I am looking for the most affordable water cooling

Rig will do video editing

looked at "asg" post on his build..... I can't do something that fancy... smile.gif


It looks like the next intel release won't be until 2013..
Will I be able to stick new cpu's into this build?

Do not get that board. Go single 2011, RIVE or if you really want duel get the Asus Z9PE-D8 WS.

You can do a simpler version with less watercooling and less drives.
