So right now I have a Coolermaster 690 II Advanced case with -
i5-2500k CPU
P8Z68-V-LE MOBO
AMD sapphire 6950 2GB GPU
2x4GB g-skill ripjaw x RAM
Coolermaster GX650watt PSU

And I'm looking to upgrade my my motherboard to a AsRock Z77 Extreme4 (more room for future upgrades and maybe a second GPU later on)
My GPU to a AMD 7850 2GB (havent decided on brand)
And my PSU to a corsair HX 750watt
Just wanting to get some opinions, are these good upgrades?

Any other suggestions are welcome smile.gif my budget is around 500 Australia dollars, thanks Danielle

That's a MB and it would be a good idea to get a 64 Gig SSD for your OS.Also get the 7870 if it fits into to $$.Other then that it all looks good.Or get another 6950 and crossfire them.thumb.gif

imo you wont be needing 750w, you can sli gtx 680's on a good 650w psu just incase you dont plan on sli in the future, the money saved could go towards a better motherboard like the Z77 fatal1ty pro or extreme 6 ? Just idea's.........

just buy another 6950. One 7850 has about the same performance of one 6950 (Benchmarks)

unluckily she cant used the GX 650W in Xfire/SLI, there are not enough cable to supply the 2-videocard, even with the use of 4pin molex and that GX 650W is not that great of a psu either. So getting a better one is best if she need to xfire that 6950 at hand

corsair HX750 is a good choice but there are other like seasonic, antec, etc brand of psu that have good voltage rail and sufficient cables.

I want to get another 6950 but I can't find any for sale around my area >.< but I'll keep looking if I get another 6950 does it have to be the same brand? Like currently I have the sapphire dirt 3 edition, do I have to get another sapphire or can it be a different brand?
