I'm thinking of buying either the Corsair 1500 or the Steelseries Siberia V2. But I am still on the look out for more headsets tongue.gif

The Corsair 1500s have a great mic, I'm not a fan of the sound quality, but they have good imaging, they'd be great for FPS gaming if you don't mind how they sound. A bit treble heavy, kinda a tin can sound, but at the same time they seem like they have a decent soundstage, they're weird.

Hmm, then they may not be for me. I am looking a Gaming and Music headset. Do you know of any other headsets that have great sound, great mic and are very comfortable?

I feel I should give more clarification. I was having a look at the Sennheiser PC350's but I hear the bass is weak, and the majority of music I listen to all bass heavy.

Another factor that turned me off was, I don't have a sound card, and trying to power these things on a built in sound card is going to be tough. So, in conclusion, bass is vital and I think I should get a headset with a USB soundcard built in. Thanks for all the help!

Yeah, that was one of my main choices, I just didn't know if it came with a USB or not. That was my initial buy until I seen how dated it was...

In your shoes I'd look at my budget and decide if you want to go 80-90$ or the 130-150$ ranges.

If you can stretch your budget, I'd consider ath-m50's(better base)(prolly gonna need a cheap amp) and the ad700(better soundstage) with a clip on mic or attachable boom mic, http://www.modmic.com/ makes a good one.

If you want to keep prices reasonable, I'd go with the siberia over the corair 1500. I like the retractable mic design as I honestly barely use my mic and i heard the siberia is juat a tad more comfy.

Yes, I was looking at the Modmic and it's not available in my country, and to be honest international shipping is excessive. But, I keep hearing that the Siberia is great.

I don't really care for Headphone + Mic. That's what I am rocking now, and I'm not a fan.
