Unplug your HDDs.
Plug in your SSD.
Leave SATA mode in RAID.
Install Windows.
Shutdown.
Plug in your HDDs again.
Boot.
Go into BIOS and set primary boot device to SSD.

You just booted into Windows from your SSD but still can access the RAID0 array.
Once again...

btw, i want it in AHCI mode because i want to update my SSD's firmware (Corsair F3), the manual said you can only do it in AHCI mode, not RAID or IDE. What should i do ?

Update in AHCI then... you can switch between RAID and AHCI without issue.

Why would you switch to AHCI? If your controller is already running in RAID mode then the SSD is getting all the benefits of AHCI mode and you can still keep your RAID.You don't have to do anything here.
It's not slow...

Oh, you can't be serious?

Just use the bootable firmware updater. Burn it to CD, flip the boot order around in the BIOS... Flash... done? tongue.gif

You just booted into Windows from your SSD but still can access the RAID0 array.
If the drives aren't visible after plugging them in again, you probably need AMD or Intel AHCI/RAID drivers installed for your fresh OS.
