Are 720W enough for HD6950 Crossfire?

Hi, I'm making a gaming PC, these are all the components:

Vengeance 1x4 1600Mhz

CD/DVD Reader

SD reader

Intel i5 2500k

NZXT Tempest EVO (six fans, 4 leds I think)

Cooler Master 612S

Asrock z68 Extreme4 Gen3

Samsung 830 64GB

HD 7200 rpm

Sapphire HD 6950 Dual Fan x2

ENERMAX Pro80+ 720W (I pay it 87$)

Has this PSU enough power? Or I shold buy some other? I can pay it 100$.
I live in Italy, and prices are higher than in USA...

It should be enough considering I am running 2 295's off of a 750w and 6950's are much more power efficient.

Yea. I run them off a DA750 that is over 4 years old.
Along with my 970 @ 4.2GHz.

Oh, yeah, I forgot to say that I will OC the 2500k, to 4.5 or 5 ghz... Can I be sure that I won't break something? I made a test with the Extreme Outervision calculator, it says 650W minimum, reccomended 700W. Is it a good calculator?

Your planned system would be fine on a good 650 watt PSU, so yes, you're fine.

Please, answer me. I need an answer because the Enermax cost much more on other sites, something like 130$.

Nope, the VP750 is an overrated Andyson unit with horrid cabling/connectivity... don't buy that.

Link the shop/s you're buying from and give us your budget in the local currency.

I'm buying from eBay.it, e-key.it and overclockers-store.com . My budget is 70€.

EDIT: I can also buy from amazon.it .

You'll have to stretch your budget a little but it can't be helped... this is the cheapest quality unit I could find close to your budget, that also comes with sufficient PCIe connectors for the CFX setup... on the bright side, it's better than your initial Enermax pick. wink.gif
