[Reuters] Mac users guided to pricier hotels on Orbitz - Page 7

Someone who spends 3k on a mac is an idiot and was quickly parted from his money. The same person is probably too stupid to be able to properly check hotel prices and overpays for many things. I'm sure a lot of people here have spent 3k on a PC but that doesnt mean they didnt get good value for what they bought.

Macs dont get viruses.

Was seeing this on the news as well. Orbitz CEO came out and said in no way are the same EXACT rooms different prices. They just happen to suggest more 'premium' rooms to the more 'premium' users.

Heh.
There was a time where Apple represented wealth. Now it just represents 'I buy this to look cool and because it's trendy and it makes me look rich'.
There's exceptions, but they are becoming more and more scarce.

No, people still believe it does.

There are people who buy into the i-ecosystem because they believe it makes them appear better off to other people.

battery life and weight are important in a laptop. the rmbp is the lightest 15" non-ultrabook, and it has a decent gpu and it has a crazy 95whr battery. if you don't buy a laptop solely for gaming (why would you do this?) those are important factors

They'd probably show Linux users primitive campsites where you have to build the hotel room.

buy gaming laptop. put it on battery saver mode.

Checkmate. Money Saved and More Battery.

Stronger hardware for use when plugged in to a wall.
