Was thinking some GT or some Akasa Vipers.

Currently using a 420mm GT Black Ice Rad in an Switch 810. Any suggestions?

If you look into "blowers" (ie squirrel cage) you'll find then to be orders of magnitude higher pressures at equal air flows and sound levels to "fans",

In the past I have used an EBM Papst D2E13367-78 Blower. 420 CFM, 50db and a pressure of 1.8 INCHES of water.

You claim they have similar sound levels to fans, then say you are running at 50 db? Sure you have higher CFM and fans at that CFM would also be loud but that is an unacceptable level of noise to me.

Lots of people don't understand that the db system is not linear. 50 db is WAY WAY WAY louder than 25 db, not twice as loud.

You forgot to mention that this blower draws 205W of power by itself!

crikie!.. 45.72mm/h20. the fins are so frail now, if they are just a little canted, they can get ripped outta
the radiator at that pressure. LOL!
