[Appraisal] GF116 Palit GTS 450 Sonic

I'm looking to sell my GTS450. I bought it in October last year, for BF3, so that I could run SLI with my other card. It cost me £99.

It's a good card, this one is based on the GF116 that was intended for use in the GTX550ti, but was used also in some later models of GTS450. This, very basically, means that it runs cooler, uses less power/voltage and can OC further. This one, for example, I benched at 1025MHz on stock volts.

Ideally, I'd be looking for £60 for the card and preferably a quick sale too (today/tomorrow?).

So OCN, what's it worth? wink.gif

PS. This is the first thread like this I've done for a component, I may add more info if necessary.

£60 seems like a pretty fair price. I bought a GTS 450 from another member on here for $60 for my friend.

Well, that makes sense, with the $1 = £0.64 exchange rate ATM... I sold one to a friend for £60 in February, I thought that this one may fetch the same price on OCN, seeing as it's such a good card.

Sorry! I didnt want to look up the conversion because the numbers were so low I thought it would be negligible. Me being American and knowing £60 > $60 I wouldnt pay that much for it.


P.S. I believe its against TOS to sell in an appraisal thread.

How do you know it's a GF116 GPU can overclock to +1GHZ? I've problem to overclock my GTS 450 to 940 Mhz and I use an aftermarket cooler?

Differences in hardware components prolly. I believe you could hit 1025 possibly with some voltage change but none does make it sound farfetched. Now that I'm more awake OP pics or no proof.

I see 1005 Mhz only? I've Forceware 3.xx and MSI Afterburner 2.21 but my Afterburner also shows me the voltage?
