i know my cpu, it crashes about 62C and i don't trust it to be stable above 58
it is a 125W TDP cpu

NH-U12 is approx. 6-8c hotter at full load then NH-D14 under load. Not as much at CPU idle if fans are at 100%

I'm running i7-920@3.5GHz and with NH-U12 idle was about 40c @ 720rpm. and i7-920 is 100c TJmax.

Your AMD w/ D14 no fans should idle below 40-45c.

Now I'm curious.. Turned my fans off..

You have 108F ambients.... WHAT. That means you're idling @ 4C above ambients?

I have around 70F ambient (20C) and I idle @ 33C which is a 22F difference between ambient. I think something is missing.

Living in Colorado Springs, forest fires along with the sun being a jerk means heavy smoke and 100+ every day.. Even into the night.. lost my car to the heat today Q_Q RIP Sabre...

When I had my 1090T @ 3.6Ghz with CM 212+ P/P my idle temps was 18-25c in the HAF X and Switch 810 case.
Do you have proper airflow within your case?

Core temp came up to 44-50c and no more. Ambient is 23.5c That was with 3x case fans at 700rpm:thumb:

I'll reset the cooler tonight, I had to pull it off to realign the screws and I think that did me in.. Along with the temps
