First of all, welcome to OCN.

Start off in the stickied threads --> http://www.overclock.net/t/792469/amd-cpu-clubs-essential-threads/0_50

and --> http://www.overclock.net/t/226939/amd-cpus-current-tech-essentials-older-tech-link-included/0_50

something like this might be a good place to start --> http://www.overclock.net/t/280641/amd-phenom-k10-overclocking-guide

Now, I know this next guide is a Intel guide, but it is very general and 98% of the guide applies to your processor. Personally, i would start here. It is written in "laymans terms". --> http://www.overclock.net/t/1567/intel-overclocking-guide/0_50

Okay, so.....do some reading and come back with specific questions and i'll give you specific answers.

hello,
read the guides they help,but in a nut shell ......
update your bios to most recent,as they have changed setting on the mobo for more stabilty.
go to the bios,go to advanced,advance cpu setting and disable cool and quite,c1e,c6 state,apm and virtual machine if you dont use it.
then go to the advanced ,northbridge and memory setting,check that ecc is disabled(it had enabled on mine)
then got back to the oc tuner,change you multiplier to 20x go down to cpu load line and change that to ultra high and change voltage to manual and set the voltage to 1.33v.
save and reboot.
should be at 4ghz on air,run prime95,occt ,ect to see if stable and temps are under 61c.

Read all the valuable info on the site, and do a basic overclock.

Work up from there and keep an eye on the heat.

Make sure your ram is rock solid before overclocking, it's such a basic thing but
it can be a source of major problems.
