I have been playing since launch and never felt or thought the way they're describing it. I have thought a few times of selling something on the RMAH but for now I am just sticking with the gold ah because I still need lots of gold for my character.

I am sooooo tired of people complaining about the AH and RMAH, surely there must be better things to rant about...

I personally love the RH, it brings me just as much satisfaction knowing I've sold a good piece of kit, than it does finding one.

I don't want to use the RMAH, but that is a choice of my own and I've not suffered as a result. The idea of buying something off the RMAH to speed things up does not appeal to me, but if someone else want to do that, I for one would not disapprove. I want the game to bring me months, if not years, of fun.

I'll say it - I love D3, I'm addicted.
As for those that disagree, you are welcome - It's just unfortunate that so many threads are full of the negative comments as they are truly boring to read.

I've only sold a couple of things on the RMAH. Like $2 worth. I prefer to give gear to my friends. I'm a demon hunter and so is one of my best friends. He doesn't play as much as I do so he gets all my old gear. I've given him plenty of awesome pieces of gear and I don't think twice about it. I'd rather hook him up and have fun playing with him than make a few bucks.

I think it would be extremely hard to actually be productive playing Diablo for money. I'm sure any minimum wage job would pay better per hour...

In addition to that, if you don't like the AH or RMAH then DON'T USE IT!!! Who cares if other people are buying $200 pieces of gear and becoming extremely overpowered. YOU DON'T HAVE TO PLAY WITH THEM IF YOU DON'T WANT TO!!!!

I have another friend who does exactly this. She is a big D2 fan and does not like the AH at all. She won't even sell gear there. She just vendors all her stuff and only wears her own drops. Sure her character is rather weak because of this but that's how she chooses to play the game. I tried to give her a bunch of Inferno level gems when she was in nightmare mode and she wouldn't even take them...
