Only said it was a method of cutting inflation. Never said it was good, quite the opposite. If this were what the government did in a real economy, it would be disastrous, just like in Diablo right now.

i played the game the "hard way" and it was very easy. none of my friends and i bought items via RMAH and we all easily beat inferno on our respective classes i think you are just one of those people who are bad at video games and quick to blame your lack of skills on something.

RMAH is just a legit version of what d2 had and it in no way changes anything. there will always be kids playing games and paying money to beat them faster or be better then you. if you want to play a game where you cant buy your way through, then i suggest other titles then hack and slash dungeon crawlers

if you are a bliz fan try sc2. if you are an RPG fan try bloodline champions. you cant buy your way to victory in these games but i bet you will find them too hard (they are not hard and made easier since the release or in sc2 case since its original) and complain as well.

also side note.... no one is impressed by anyone in hell.... in fact no one SHOULD be impressed by inferno but they are sadly

I see this as Blizzard solving a problem and making money. Killing two birds with one stone. One there has always been the gold farmers and gear farmers, but Blizzard does not get a cut of the profits. There has always been a market of people with more money than time for these games.
So they are making profit from the people that will be selling these goods anyways and they are making it legal for the guys that will be buying these goods anyways.
Sounds like a win win to me. Blizzard wants to find a way to stop banning paying customers. Here it is.

I think the repair patch was actually a good change, considering the "fix" of act 2-4.

Instead of hitting the brick wall, that was act 2(at least for me). They now make a different kind of barrier, aka the repair patch. I clearly noticed if I were under-geared for the content. But this doesn't count the fact if you play the game without dying, the repair cost is still the same, but over a long period of time(they will address this in an upcoming patch)

As for the RMAH, it's there, but it's not required.

Exactly it is the biggest carrot on a stick ever.

Out of about 10 of my friends who bought it 5 are still playing and ALL of them including my self are playing for the sole reason of making real money out of it alone!

People do not see it "no one forces you to use it lololol" the terrible loot drops and inferno difficulty combined forces you to use it.

Meh....

It's basically a free game.
Sell 20 items for $ 5.
If you have to grind loot just to get to the next act that is a flaw in level design.

I'm not in love with the RMAH either, but it's just a way of legitimizing something that was already there. Yes, Blizzard took advantage of the black market for items and has turned it into a cash flow option for years to come. Hard core players support it because it's money in their pocket (until they start getting grumpy when the value of items begins to drop).
