While waiting for more parts to arrive I thought I would have a play around with ideas for replacing the Dominator-GT sticker on the RAM. I've never been very good at this sort of thing but what I came up with I think is simple and effective.

Or if I was to include the Corsair logo?

NOTE: Because I am copying these posts from my worklog on another forum these are all dated. I have already decided on the second option and the order has been placed for the custom stickers.

For my current watercooling loop I used Primochill Pro LRT 1/2" ID, 3/4" OD clear tubing. I found that although the tubing fitted fine on the barbs of the EK compression fittings the covers (not sure what else to call them), even though they were made for 5/8" to 3/4" OD tubing, wouldn't screw down completely. I emailed EK and they said it was supposed to be a tight fit to stop water leaking. I ended up covering the fittings with a cloth and used pliers in an attempt to screw the caps down with almost no success. I even ended up damaging one of the fittings frown.gif

This past experience has lead me to search for an other option for tubing. I recently came across Tygon R3603 1/2" ID, 5/8" OD Laboratory Tubing. The thinner wall means I can not only screw the caps on properly but I can sleeve my tubing with high density white sleeve like I did with my current loop, except this time I can sleeve into the fitting for a much cleaner look. I found that the thick wall of the Primochill tubing made it very stiff and hard to work with, hopefully the Tygon tubing is an improvement biggrin.gif

This cable was my first attempt at sleeving a cable so it's not perfect but I am quite proud of the result smile.gif
