But the Ram there are othere ones pick form this list right here:
Ram List Pick the speed you want and get it in a 2x8 gb will be worth it for u smile.gif Or color or what ever you are looking smile.gif
PSU, Fully modualler, and SS built if I am not off my rocker smile.gif

Your Mobo is SUper over kill for the price smile.gif No need ... why not try the cheaper one and then if it does not do what you want you have 30 days and then you can return it ...

The price for the MOBO is purely a guess since it's not even out yet on Newegg.

But changed the GPU to:
EVGA 02G-P4-2678-KR GeForce GTX 670 FTW 2GB 256-bit GDDR5
GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130787
($839.98) SLI

The ASUS one didn't have a water block for it and plus this one $20 cheaper.

This whole rig is sort of a mess in my perspective, there is a ton of stuff that I don't think will ever be needed.

I would just go for a 3570k+690 (or SLI 670 DC2s) with a UD3H Z77 motherboard along with an XSPC 360mm Raystorm Extreme kit with another 240mm rad, a 690 waterblock, and a few other extra essentials. I really don't think you need an overkill motherboard with a ton of bitspower valve toys... let alone the thought of 7 1850rpm fans running high a high FPI radiator. A ton of other curves need to be straightened, but all I have to say you could be getting so much more for so much cheaper.

my 2 cents

I'll cave on the MOBO.

What is everyone's thoughts on http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131830?
(ASUS Maximus V Gene LGA 1155 Intel Z77)
Much cheaper the the Formula and as long as it's still great for overclocking I may go with it.

The reason for all the 45 degree fittings I don't want kinks or tight turns.
Would I run into those issues? If not I'd dump them.

Like I've said I have very limited knowledge of building water cooling but I don't want one of them boxed sets.
The fittings is where I'm running into the big costs if I'm getting too much for my proposed set up please help me out there.
Monsoon look nice but if there is a better option (compression) point them out for me.

Really want the valve for my drain hose as to me it makes it cleaner.

I'm trying to but like I said still learning and it seems I need a little bit of hand holding.
Is there kits that use the Black Ice rads? Read a ton about them and kinda prefer to get them.

If I were to get:
http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=59_202_972&products_id=33590
I'd still need a 240 rad so I'll keep the one I have now picked out.

Lol, what else should I dump?

I really really want an ASUS board it fits the theme in my head lol.
(EDIT Guess I'll go blue have to change the color of RAM then)
But I'll check out the other options. All the ones out except for one is much cheaper.

I'm sitting here trying to figure out what to remove and what to add now.
I went with that kit.

you need to find someone better then me with water cooling ... cause there are some really cool things and a lot of diffrent ways to do it but then there are stupid ways that work and what not but should not be done ... LOL so ... I would PM someone in a build (Find a on going build) and then PM them and try and find out what is worth doing and what not ....

I wish I could get you a 100% positive answer one what you should do and what not but ... I am not that guy smile.gif

BTW, great idea on the 670 gtx and the better MOBO.

Dude, sit down and have a breather.... its not "faster than any overclocked 7970 or 680" doh.gif
( you only talk this up cause u have one lol) not saying its not a great card , it is !!! i actually love it ! but the 680 is better sorry
It is pretty good, but it has less shaders and you can see how it falls behind in synthetic benchmarks.
670 is good bang for buck... but 680 is more superior.

i would swap out the 3570k for a 3770k.... reason i say this is your SLI setup will breathe better with HT.. also you will acheive higher clocks with less voltage on the 3770k compared to the 3570k.

you did say there is no such thing as overkill thumb.gif
