ASRock Z77 Extreme4 Socket 1155 Center audio port not working...

Thread Starter
So, got this motherboard about a month ago, and pretty much from the start, the center/subwoofer audio port hasn't worked. When I plug something in, the Realtek audio manager still sees it as empty, and the mobo's BIOS... What is that, anyways? It shows the motherboard and all the ports, and what's plugged in... Anyways, that doesn't pick up when something's plugged in, either. No sound comes out, and I've tried with multiple plugs, and multiple devices. I uninstalled and reinstalled the audio drivers, and that didn't change anything... So anyone have any ideas? Or is this hardware failure? I kinda miss my sub...

I have been searching everywhere on the internet for someone with this problem. I know it is an old post but it seems to be the only one out there. I just bought a Tiamat 7.1 and my realtek audio driver is claiming there is no plug in the center/sub port. Anyone have any ideas if it can be fixed and is not just shot and I'm screwed.
