BSOD after some light overcloking, weak cpu?

PondokAren-20120627-00083.jpg

it occured during prime95 blend after I set the system to run on following specs:

RAM:
Corsair CMZ16GX3M4X1600C9G(three used)
timing, speed, voltage : 9-9-9-24 , 12:1600 , 1.4v
uncore multiplier, voltage: x24 , 1.25v

Processor:
i7 980x
bclk, multiplier : 135mhz , x28 x28 x28 x28 x29 x29
voltage,tdp,tcp : All default
V-Droop : High V-droop

Everything else:
All default.

Question:

since 0x0000007E BSOD is known to be OS related BSOD, can you guys confirm that this time this BSOD has nothing to do with OS?
thanks

ps:
tried medium vdroop, suddenly lagged terribly after like 5 minutes of prime95 blend test
tried low vdroop, seemed stable but as far as I know using low vdroop has never been a good idea so I revved back,

It's probably driver related. Just a shot in the dark though.

If you upload the dump file, someone may be able to go through and narrow down the issue further.

Increase mem voltage to 1.5 and see if it fixes the issue, lagging in prime is usually ram or storage related issues(HDD/SSD,sata cable, drivers etc)

Then run chkdsk /r and sfc /scannow if it Bsod's again.
Can you upload the dump file?

The BSOD codes in the sandy stable club here http://www.overclock.net/t/968053/official-the-sandy-stable-club-guides-voltages-temps-bios-templates-inc-spreadsheet would seem to suggest it is due to a corrupt OS file, you can try to run some repairs but you may need to re install.

Could be oc but i'd say its more os/driver related. BSOD codes are usually on the money for what has one wrong.
